The year of 2016 is the 65th anniversary of China-India establishing diplomatic ties, promoting "One Belt - One Road" among China and countries along the road, and China's tourism year in India which is confirmed by President Xi and PM Modi.

China and India, as ancient civilizations with big populations are emerging economies with highest speed of GDP growth. There are great development opportunities and unique cooperative potentiality because of resource complementarities of the two countries. China Craze and India Craze is rising. Chinese enterprises are entering the Indian market to grasp the opportunity. Local governments are working enthusiastically to be Sister City and Sister Sate. Head count of two-way tourism has reached 1 million people. Bilateral trade and economic relations development gets into the fast lane with next 10 golden years.

As an important activity between two countries, Fifth China-India Forum showcased the picture of Chinese dragon and the Indian elephant dancing together in Pink City of Jaipur, India; Creating future of economic and trade integration together with the concept of mutual learning among civilizations and gathering people's intelligence.

Hosted by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), the China -India Friendship Association (CIFA)and Podar Enterprise and organised by Fortune Plus & IBLF , the theme for this year's forum was:

Inaugural Session - Investment Opportunities: China & India
CPAFFC Vice President Lin Yi made a speech at the Inaugural Session. She said that the river of China India friendship runs a long course from a remote source, our cooperation is experiencing a rapid development since the 21st century. For two large countries with emerging markets, the economic and trade cooperation between China and India has boundless potentiality. Therefore, we should grasp the opportunity of regional cooperation among BRICS countries, the opportunity of complementary advantages and the opportunity of scale economy, so we could make progress with joint efforts. Mr. Gajendra Singh, Hon. Industry Minister Rajasthan, warmly welcomed Chinese enterprises to invest in Rajasthan, and mentioned that since China and India are neighbors and both are large countries undergoing fast economic development, the two sides should strengthen exchanges to fully display complementary advantages and pragmatic cooperation. Mr. Rajiv Podar, Managing Director Podar Enterprise, expressed his willingness to continue working with China to build a better platform for China India communication, thus making contributions to exchanges and cooperation in various fields.

To welcome the International delegates and Indian dignitaries, Mr. Rajiv Podar organised a Royal dinner at City Palace Jaipur. The dinner night started with grand welcome by decorated elephants and rose petal showers followed by Aarti, Tika and garland.

Further, a Light and Sound show explained the history of Jaipur and the Royal Family.

Cultural Program started with performance by kids from Podar Deaf & Dumb School, Jaipur

Chindia Awards were given out to selected Chinese and Indian companies

Other nominated companies were given nomination certificates

Certificate of Appreciation was awarded by CPAFFC to Podar Enterprise and Fortune Plus.

Qualcomm organised a mega launch event during dinner where top distributors were felicitated and Mobile handsets were given out guests selected by lottery draw.
